Robert J. Iommazzo Joins Traxi as Managing Director

New York, NY – December 15, 2010 – Robert J. Iommazzo, a restructuring and investment banking professional with more than 30 years of experience, has joined Traxi LLC. As a national financial advisory and consulting firm Traxi offers comprehensive, practical and streamlined solutions to complex business challenges requiring turnaround, restructuring, management and/or transactional expertise. Mr. Iommazzo will serve as a Managing Director at the firm, where he will be responsible for further developing the restructuring, investment banking, litigation support and forensic accounting practices. The announcement was made by Anthony J. Pacchia, Traxi’s CEO.

“Bob brings to Traxi an extensive background in corporate finance and strong relationships in the corporate and asset-based lending community. In addition, his hands-on managerial experience will provide Traxi with additional expertise in the traditional turnaround restructuring area. In recent years Mr. Iommazzo served as President of Scalamandre Silks, Inc., a luxury home furnishing design and marketing company, and as an advisor to companies in the restaurant, apparel, healthcare, consumer products, and real estate sectors, among others. During his tenure at NachmanHaysBrownstein, Inc his clients included several closely-held and family owned businesses and while at Coopers & Lybrand (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers) his clients included midsize as well as large public companies such as Johnson & Johnson and Volvo.

Mr. Iommazzo has long worked with private equity firms seeking acquisition opportunities while providing services to closely-held and family owned businesses in transition. At Scalamandre, Mr. Iommazzo was hired as President – the first non- family member to run this business - after a productive consulting engagement. While there he led the Company through an operational turnaround by focusing on cost control, operational efficiency and a debt refinancing. His effort efficiently positioned the company for sale.

Mr. Iommazzo is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson University where he majored in accounting. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and Family Firm Institute. He served as chairman of the March of Dimes North Jersey Chapter and was an officer in the Army National Guard.
