Anthony J. Pacchia

CEO, Executive Managing Director, Anthony Pacchia has over 25 years experience working as a restructuring professional in the banking, legal and investment fields.

Prior to founding Traxi in 2000, Mr. Pacchia was a Director at Balfour Investors, a distressed investment company located in New York City.  Before that, he served as a Senior Vice President of First Fidelity Bank in Newark, New Jersey, where he managed the banks workout department.   Mr. Pacchia began his professional career serving as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Vincent J. Commisa, US Bankruptcy Court, District of New Jersey.

At Traxi, Mr. Pacchia utilizes his diverse investing, legal and financial skills to assist clients with complex debt restructurings, crisis management and asset recovery assignments. 

With his help, an internationally recognized telecom equipment provider was able to successfully manage its way through the early 2000 telecom recession. Under his guidance, Traxi collected over three hundred fifty million dollars cash and repossessed close to a hundred million dollars of equipment in the resolution of sixty special assets.

Mr. Pacchia has advised the Official Unsecured Creditors Committee of Advanced Marketing Services and serves on several boards of directors for major corporations. In his most recent board assignment he served the Board of Directors of Flag Telecom where he also was a member of the Special Committee that negotiated the sale of the company to Reliance Gateway Net Limited. 

Mr. Pacchia received a BA in History from the University of Connecticut and earned a JD degree from the University of Bridgeport School of Law.
