Sam Garruto, one of the foremost authorities in healthcare consulting and accounting leverages more than 40 years of experience in accounting and consulting to serve Traxi’s clients. A former partner with a national accounting firm, he has extensive experience as an audit partner. Sam has focused his efforts on serving both middle market and large clients.
Sam served as the financial advisor in the sale of one of the largest private hospitals in the nation (Kessler Rehabilitation Corporation) to a public company. He was the chairman of the Board of Directors of one of New Jersey’s largest Preferred Provider Organizations (Consumer Health Network) and vice chairman of New Jersey’s first privately owned Health Maintenance Organization (Crossroads Health Plan). Both companies were sold under his leadership and guidance to public companies. He currently serves on the Board of a public company which manufactures specialty ingots.
As an active leader of the nonprofit community, Sam currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Kessler Foundation and the Greater Newark Holiday Fund.
Sam earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a CPA in the State of New Jersey.
